You can connect your laptop (Win/Mac) to wireless network in the library. PC Help can help you set up the connection. To do it yourself, download a manual for Macintosh, Windows XP or Windows Vista.

Moodle - Online Course Management System

The library server hosts Moodle, an online course management system. Before the beginning of semester, faculty may ask to set up online space for their class. The library can work with faculty or teaching assistant to upload materials in need. And the librarians may instruct faculty on how to use this system in classroom. To train yourself, use a manual of Guideline for Teacher, Guideline for Student, or Guideline for Beginner

Databases and Online Journal Access

CTS library subscribes to FirstSearch databases, ATLA Religion databases, and a few online journals. The library distributes a new ID/PASS of FirsrSearch and ATLA databases at the beginning of each academic year. In CTS buildings, online journals will be accessed without ID/PASS with automatic recognition of IP address. For remote online journal access, contact Seong Heon Lee.











Computers and Network Printer

The library has five public workstations that are connected to a network printer. Patrons can print materials online or from their own USB flash disk. Printing will be charged $0.10 per page.

Email

All CTS students will have CTS email account. To find your email account, please, contact PC Help (773-322-0218). At the window of "Authentication Required", enter your_user_id@cts (not your_user_id@ctschicago.edu) and password.
