LGBT Religious Archives Network

The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Religious Archives Network is a unique resource for students and researchers studying the history of LGBT religious movements. Founded by CTS in 2002, the LGBT Religious Archives Network serves as a:

  • resource center to assist LGBT religious leaders and groups in preserving their records and papers; and
  • information clearinghouse for locating LGBT archival collections.

The LGBT Religious Archives Network web site, www.lgbtran.org, provides extensive information on LGBT religious history:

  • Pioneers Gallery with biographical information on LGBT religious leaders;
  • a Collections Catalog, listing archival collections from LGBT religious movements;
  • an Archives Exhibit, with electronic copies of historical documents;
  • a Recommended Repositories list; and
  • other news and information on the study of LGBT religious history.
    CTS students and friends can participate in this ongoing, grass roots historical endeavor by emailing info@lgbtran.org.
